Absolutely banger of a season. “Golden Age” is not just a catchy buzzword, it really and tangibly is here. Good for Porsche, Toyota and Ferrari to all get their respective laurels, but I remain cheering for the underdog.
About the underdog, next year Cadillac with Jota should probably not count as one and I expect great things from them. CGR always had that air of not being completely there, and with one car, it was hard to expect them to be. They got their marvelous send off at Petit Le Mans and it makes me happy, but time to look ahead.
Misc: can’t be happy for Buemi; Nick de Vries is a great addition to Toyota’s lineup; Iron Dames are definitely cursed; not many GT3 teams excite me unfortunately; stop shitting on casters; don’t sleep on ELMS
See yall at Daytona!
