Algorithmic trading. Basically programming computers to make automated trades when certain conditions are met. Computers don’t sleep. Computers can crunch numbers instantaneously. Computers can interpret news the moment it comes out. Regular people can’t do any of these things. That’s why it’s bad for regular people and good for the uber wealthy

Computers interpret the news in a moment.... so if a bad financial statement comes out, they make a sell? Good for me, because I could get those stocks on discount... as they probably won't fall any further, and if it is a utility company (electricity, water, gas) it'll eventually perform well, as we always need their services
