Elephant: Represents the prehistoric existence of elephants in the island town. In 2000, significant fossil finds were discovered in Barangays San Jose and Awile. These fossils, found at varying depths, included remains of species such as Stegodon, large and dwarf Elephas (elephants), Rhinoceros philippinensis, and other fauna, indicating a rich prehistoric biodiversity in the area.
Bamboo Sticks: The elephant is seen carrying bamboo sticks with its trunk, representing the core part of the town’s local delicacy, Binongey (also spelled Binungey), a traditional rice cake made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and salt, cooked inside bamboo tubes. This delicacy is celebrated annually during the Binongey Festival, which showcases the town's rich culinary heritage and vibrant community spirit.
Blue: Represents the waters surrounding Cabarruyan Island, emphasizing Anda's island geography and its connection to the sea. It symbolizes the life-giving waters that sustain the local fishing industry and provide transportation and trade routes. It also represents the vastness and potential of the sea, as well as the adventurous spirit of the islanders.
Yellow: Represents the fine white sand of Anda's beaches, a major draw for tourists and a key element of the town's identity. It represents the abundance of coastal resources and the economic opportunities they provide through tourism and fishing. The golden hue also evokes a sense of warmth, hospitality, and prosperity.
White: Represents the peaceful vibe tourists usually experience as they visit the island town of Anda.
