Direct flights from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie

Hi there,

I am planning to travel from Chengdu to Zhangjiajie in February but I can't seem to find any direct flights, when I looked it up previously this year they were coming up. Does anyone know if the direct flight between these two places has stopped?

Thanks!

I‘ll suggest take the high speed train. Even the direct flight will take 4.5 hours + 2 more hours between cities and airports + potential delays. High speed train is around 7 hours and comfortable with more space. Although there's a transfer as well, it's easy like changing a subway as long as you choose the same station transfer when buying tickets, and I guess it's cheaper

There are no direct flights or trains on this route. My suggestion is to fly to Changsha—it's also a great place to visit (and has amazing food, I live here). From Changsha, you can take the high-speed train to Zhangjiajie. Alternatively, you can travel from Chengdu to Chongqing and then take the high-speed train to Zhangjiajie.
