Edit: I don't know why people seem to think this is a hate comment? It's not, I'm talking about how much I love this video?

I know a lot of people in the fandom are sick of Bad Apple, but it stills gives me chills in a way I find hard to explain and even makes me a little emotional.

I guess it's probably because it's filled with a lot of nostalgia, but I remember being fascinated by the video when I was a lot younger and knew nothing about Touhou and only recently started seriously dabbling in the series to learn about the characters and lore.

Having only played Scarlet Devil and Cherry Blossom, I still don't know a lot of characters, but it feels really cool to actually recognize the ones that I do here and it's always really exciting when I recognize a character from fanworks when playing a new Touhou game. I can't tell you how excited I was to see Cirno for the first time, and I'm still looking forward to the day I'm skilled enough to get to the extra stage of Scarlet Devil and meet Flandre!

About the only criticism about the video itself I see is the fact that it fuels the mischaracterization of Flandre. Something I honestly think even the wiki kind of fails to correct. That said, I think that shot of Flandre smiling and the colors inverting was the part that piqued my curiosity of the characters in the first place. It's so unexpected and chilling that it redirected my whole understanding of Touhou which at the time I only knew about the goofy side.

So Ironically, even though Falndre is mischaracterized here, I think it's still a really good window into what the franchise is like in its entirety: really cute and goofy characters with some really heavy lore if you go looking for it.
