I’m writing a narrative texan pride essay for school and I need to exemplify an elected official who has passed/attempted a regulation/law/act against all odds. The law did not have to pass as long as the official showed some sort of resilience and determination, the true characteristic of a texan. I’m looking around for locals, if possible. Thanks yall

It happened like all of a sudden too. Roads I used to be able to freely take left turns into businesses are now so blocked I have to travel a further mile to make a U-turn.

Even when there are built in turn lanes, I don’t know which side of the road they belong to.

Hello, looking for a good route from Carlsbad NM to Marathon TX. GPS said to take Hwy 285. But after typing it on YouTube to get myself familiarized with the road a lot of news videos popped up with how deadly 285 has been.

Have things changed? or is there an alternative route with some gas stations along the way?

The while family would like to plan for a trip next Christmas rather than focus on gifts. We're mostly based in San Antonio and Austin and would like to drive (so maybe 12-16hrs away). We have a bunch of toddlers and comfortably fit in 2 vans. In previous years we've gone to Ruidoso, NM. Where should we go next year??

Currently stationed in Texas, will turn 21 soon, can't renew my license as Michigan requires me to come in person for renewal.

My vehicle is registered in Michigan still, can I still apply for a new license?
