Oil changes every 3k miles, always check oil every few hundred miles or after long trips. And doing services on time, nearly due for a timing belt, doing tranny fluid and rear diff fluid every 50k ish miles.
These cars are reliable as long as they have oil in them, a lot of people really don't understand that. I know shit happens but for the most part, preventative maintience and learning your car will go a long way.
I just got in an argument with a customers who says they will do 10k oil changes because it's all "bolagna" as I had a deconstructed engine from sludge build up due to lengthy oil change intervals less than 10 feet away from them.....
I got into an argument with a friend years ago now who did 25k mile oil changes on his Ford focus ST because he switched to Amsoil and the filter says good for 25k on it. I'm like "bruh". It didn't last as long as he'd hoped haha

What do you do to maintain it?
