Vent Y’all I’m on my way to freedom!!

I’ve paid my retainer, have my resume together, applied to multiple jobs, and have a plan to move.

Tonight I got him on video telling me he wants our son to live with me! I’m so relieved. While I know he could change his mind, this video he was saying I was a good parent and wants our son to be with his mom.

He did threaten to call CPS and get my step daughter (multiple issues there drug abuse, theft, creating CP on her phone and pretending to be an adult) to give statements about me being unstable and losing my temper, but I have a good lawyer on standby just in case.

I feel like I’m on my way to having my life back and I just wanted to share!

I’m Confused. I might have to go into previous posts but you said you have a stepdaughter who abuses drugs and your husband will be calling CPS on you for child abuse??? Are you kidding me… if CPS came to your house you could tell them about the drug use and that you’ve already filed for divorce and that would be on record. He’d be screwing himself. What an idiot.. your husband I mean

Yes he’s a narcissist and emotionally and verbally abusive. I yelled at her, she said she was afraid of me, but it’s all manipulation.

I wasn’t in her face. But she says I was. Oh well, I won’t have to deal with it much longer.

Being with a man like that is hard enough and I read your post history about you working 50 hours a week to support that family and abusive man and a kid that’s not even yours that tells you to kill yourself I don’t blame you for not wanting to be there anymore. Did your stepdaughter live with you full-time because him threatening to call CPS for yelling at her as an absolute joke parents yell at their kids all the time.

I have biological children way younger than 17 and I yell every day. But as a biological mother, it’s perfectly fine for you to do that, but if God forbid you do it to a stepchild for good reason, they act like you’re the most horrible abusive person in the world. I’ve gone through it.

Yes and he refused to parent or discipline her because he “couldn’t handle it”.

No wonder why his daughter is so screwed up but that’s not your responsibility or your problem. You need to focus on yourself and your son. I think you’ll be happier in the long run or at least at peace. BTW I listened to the recording you put up and he kept saying “our children” lol that’s a big nope it’s our child and his child..
