Advice needed.

Hello friends, I found this paralysed puppy on the streets and I’ve been planning to take to a care home where they treat animal for free, or some fee which I am ready to pay.

What I was confused about is:

It’s clear that it’s been some time that this accident happened, so you think it’s worth it for the doggy to visit a vet? I mean, I am all in for the treatment, but I think if I take it for the rehab, and it gets better, would its pack accept it back?

I really really hope it can get treated. It won’t survive with such condition.

Thanks all.

I don't know. I would think the vet can tell you honestly what would be best. Yes the pack would accept him back but I think he needs a home or else he won't survive long term.

I doubt it’ll get adopted until advertised heavily. We have a lot of strays in India and people want to adopt foreign breeds mostly, it’s absurd and sad.

Can you post on Reddit? Rescues and individuals might be interested in him

Where on Reddit?

Also, an update, I went there to see him and try to take it with me but I wasn’t able to catch it as it was very afraid. Generally most of the strays are friendly, but probably because of the traumatic past. I’ll try to build up the friendship for the next coming days and let’s see.
