Activism There asking for help to capture the suspect in the united healthcare ceo killing
Don’t help them. It’s revolutionary just to say you don’t want to help them. If you see someone or something you didn’t. Have a great day comrades 😃

Activism Something needs to be done
I woke this morning and learned three things. 1. Rafah (population - 1.5 million) the location which Gazans where told is a safe zone has been repeatedly attacked during the Super Bowl 2. Apparently senate met to discuss a 95 billion dollar bill to send in aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan
Money that could very well stretch a long way in the country itself when is enough going to be enough? Leaders in this country can barely pass a moral checkpoint a child could. Why can’t we do something like a tax strike or intentionally shift the market?? Where is the will of the people. We’re all complaining about the same things but barely moving beyond that

Activism Cornel West: Palestine Support Not Anti-Semitic
Independent presidential candidate Dr Cornel West recently spoke at a pro-Palestine rally in Los Angeles. Drawing on a history of revolutionary solidarity in the African community, West condemned Israel’s genocide in Gaza and called for a ceasefire. He also criticised mainstream media’s characterisation of pro-Palestine solidarity as being driven by hatred of Jews. The real enemy, he said, is the colonial occupation of Palestine.
West has been among the few progressive voices in the morally bankrupt US political system. He recently called out US Senator Bernie Sanders for not backing a ceasefire. Sanders called for a ‘pause’ instead.
The United States is widely regarded as key to the ongoing genocide in Palestine because of the $3.8 billion in annual military aid it provides Israel, in addition to vetoes on the United Nations Security Council. In more than a month, Israel has bombed the densely populated city of Gaza, targeting homes, hospitals, schools and refugee camps, killing more than 14,500 civilians, of which about 6,000 are children. The US response has included President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel and the deployment of a group of aircraft carriers to the eastern Mediterranean Sea, while US lawmakers mull a $14 billion military aid package to Israel.
Let us know what you think of West's remarks.

Activism HAPPENING NOW: More than 1,000 individuals are currently blocking the Manhattan Bridge, making this the largest act of civil disobedience in New York since the start of the Iraq War.
"HAPPENING NOW: Over 1,000 people are shutting down the Manhattan Bridge on the busiest travel day of the year, in the largest civil disobedience action in New York since the beginning of the Iraq War. We are refusing to leave until Biden calls for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza."

Activism Kamala Harris was never coming to save you
drive.google.comSo I've seen a lot of the discourse in the past few weeks and honestly, some of it is very disappointing coming from supposed "leftists". The idea that we are now heading into the End of Days due to a Trump presidency as if we aren't coming off some of the worst conditions world wide is an incredibly small minded take. I've posted a bit of my thoughts and what a truly revolutionary stance should be right now so I'm not gonna repeat it. The purpose of this post is for us that are using this moment to double down into our commitment and struggle. If folks are confused, don't know what to do, angry, and what to channel their fervor into material action, please read this book. Jalil Muntaqim is a former Black Panther Party and Black Liberation Army member who was a political prisoner for 50 years. He is now released and continues he's activism, this book outlines a framework and essentially a blueprint for organizing and gives direction and clarity to the scientific socialist ideology and struggle. His perspective is specific to Black Liberation Struggle but the ideas are universal and as my org's foundational text, we have members from all ethnic backgrounds. If you're serious about fighting to end oppression and you don't want to keep debating endlessly online with nothing to show for it, please read this book. Free The People Free The Land!

This young man so succinctly exemplifies how we can't be fatalistic about the disingenuous media and political response to this movement, and others. We must frustrate them and go on the offensive in our refusal to be undermined.

Activism The problem with religion in the United States
So I know my audience for this probably agrees wholeheartedly but I'm hoping this spreads just a little more awareness about the issue and how fast it is growing.
So I live in the Bible Belt, actually it's more referred to as the Bible Belt buckle just because of how strong the churches influence is here, we have a massive issue of our big local churches controlling local politics with no resistance to speak of. So this doesn't really effect my day to day life but once you take it a step higher into the state government it gets to be a more serious issue, when you look at most of if not all of your state Republican lawmakers they have the support of some kind of mega church in the region so again I know not exactly a revelation there but obviously the same extends to the national level so why don't we ever try to put pressure on these massive tax exempt religious organizations that hold huge sway in our politics at virtually every level? We need some form of activism against these groups that really are just corporations posing as houses of god it's very frustrating when you take a step back and realize that these peoples delusions get to influence very important decisions that effect everyone's life as a whole sorry rant over

Activism “I want to do SOMETHING, but what?”
Just some ideas to get you going:
Join PSL or start a chapter if there isn’t one. Not hard to do.
Mutual Aid. All you need is 1 or 2 friends to help you (or you can do it alone honestly). Make a name and a social media page for your group. Start a Facebook group for a forum where struggling folks can post and ask for help. You need something material to offer then outreach and coordination to offer it. Organize food banks and if you have professional expertise to leverage, offer that too (e.g., know your rights sessions if you’re a lawyer or Saturday tutor group sessions at the public library if you’re an educator. I’ve seen a minority community host coding classes for kids in their community at the library on the weekends, which is a cool idea). Religious institutions are a great way to link up with the community and organize events or sessions. Reach out to a local church, mosque, whatever. Your group doesn’t need to be overly political but you can write a class conscious mission statement at least.
EDIT: comrades have pointed out that mutual aid can feel fruitless if not leveraged for political engagement. Fair point. Inject your community work with education and concrete recruitment or tasks.
Book club. If you have even 1 socialist friend, that’s a club.
Mix thoroughly. Once you have something going, you can link up with other existing organizations and scale up your efforts. Combining a mutual aid group with PSL sounds pretty powerful to me. All the little groups need to start coalescing imo. No reason socialist parties and Palestine advocacy orgs and mutual aid groups need to be separate and obscure anymore.
This is all in case there aren’t already existing organizations around you, which there probably are. But imo everyone needs to turn more towards mutual aid to get some community based energy going, so maybe advocate for that within existing groups if you agree.
Brainstorm. There’s really nothing to lose and no barrier to entry. Worst case you scrap your Facebook page and try something else.
