Criticism Some of my latest sketches, what do you think?

Most of them are studies of the myth of David and Goliath. I am looking for more academic compositions, I started to paint some of them !

These are not far off from being full ass drawings imo. I like the directional texture you git in your darks, some find it to be sketchy I think it adds a lot of flavor. You could play around with bringing that into your more high key areas. Actually you do in some of your other pieces. I wish we could look at images while we had our comment open. But yeah I don't have any real criticism to give on the components, the last one feels a touch awkward but maybe there is context that I'm missing. Also you may want to give the whit space some thought, I don't mind it blank like this but if you plan on painting it, it will feel striking and isolated.
