I've heard of him (never seen the game theory/film theory stuff) but I was saying that it's very plausible that people do not know who he is. I've never seen his picture for example.

I don't know why this would get downvoted. About 95% of the planet will live their life and not hear about matpat. And they don't need to.

Definitely. People over estimate the size of the bubble they live in and wrongly generalise based on it.
