Bronwyn 👗 Bronwyn is the Phoniest, Most Manipulative Housewife We’ve Seen in Years

I’ve known exactly who she is since the very first episode. I’ve never seen anyone try so impossibly hard (other than maybe Brittani, who is so woefully ill-equipped intellectually she doesn’t stand a chance).

Her “vulnerable” moment on the yacht was Machiavellian. She threw everything against the wall in that moment to see what would stick. She doesn’t care about any of these people or having real friends. She wants to stay on a TV show, and she can’t do that if she’s completely iced out. She seemed like a cornered animal.

She is so completely full of shit, and I hope the rest of the cast becomes wise to it and quits placating her.

I honestly can’t tell if this is good TV or annoying TV, but I think the latter. I’m so happy Jen Shah is gone, and I don’t miss her. I think Bronwyn needs to go.

Weird ass take. It’s kinda sick how you can watch a woman struggling to make friends open up to them in hopes that they will understand her more and your take away is that she’s manipulative? Have you ever had a friend? Bronwyn has done nothing besides stick up for herself and try to bond with the ladies so seeing these takes is bizarre. It’s clear you just like Lisa. You can do that without spreading disgusting and misogynist talking points.

Incredibly reductive to resort to calling this post “disgusting” and “misogynist”. How is it any of those things? Are you watching the same show? If she actually wanted to make friends, she could have handled every single interaction much differently. This is not the behavior of someone who is well-intentioned and earnest. If she’s as goofy and fun as she says, it shouldn’t be so hard to make friends.

Extremely weird to gender the desire to make friends, too. Just because you disagree with a take doesn’t make it misogynist.

Because only women get called manipulative for reacting as any normal human would. Men don’t get that label. And yes I find it extremely disgusting.

That’s preposterous. Men get that label all the time. People of all genders are manipulative! And people across the gender spectrum are called out for it. You cannot possibly be arguing in good faith that only women get that label. If you want to argue some other term, sure. Maybe I’d agree. But manipulative is applied pretty evenly.

I also think it’s very telling that you think her reaction is how any “normal” human would react. It’s also interesting that you’re the one trying to structure a normal vs. abnormal binary while using terms like disgusting and misogynist.
