I was raised Mormon. On my 16th birthday my mother sat me down and said I should start thinking about getting married. That's when I refused to set foot in a church ever again. This shit rots people's brains.

I guess it never occurred to her that I would object. She thought her kids would be on the same page as her. She wouldn't have forced me, but was surprised I didn't feel the same way she did.
