Bronwyn 👗 OK but did she stutter?!

“But do you like the idea of telling us you have an announcement, or do you actually like the idea of seeing your daughter”

She ate Britani up I fear this moment went too far under everyones radar

I gasped! Everyone’s silence when the original “announcement” was made should have been clear that the rest of the group cannot relate to Britani’s experience. You want accolades for your daughter speaking to you again? When the rest of the women have custody of and parent their children on a daily basis…? I wouldn’t have said what Bronwyn said but I wouldn’t congratulate Britani on her bare minimum efforts of being a mother either. It’s giving “I didn’t smoke crack today guys!!” like okay do you want a trophy??

Also, when the other women were relating to what Lisa was saying about Henry, it was because she was talking about what HENRY had gone through and how hard it was for Lisa to watch Henry navigate his world without his brother because he wasn’t thriving the way Jack did. The woman related with the experiences and periods of loneliness and social struggle their own children went through and validated Henry’s experience and celebrated Henry’s experience improving.

Britani is like, my kids are talking to ME again, and isn’t that great for ME?!

That's a really good point! I though it was because, like Bronwyn said, they actually knew Henry and don't know Britani's daughter at all, but definitely the way Lisa was talking about it and they fact that they could relate when they couldn't to Britani was a big factor in their reactions.
