Mary Cosby

Mary is such a freak and no one talks about it???? Like fr what tf is wrong with her she’s not real- especially rewatching like she’s genuinely so obtuse. Is she like autistic or something she has absolutely no social awareness and she behaves in SUCH a way- like her ig posts look like boomers random tiktok videos that go viral because they’re senile- why doesn’t anyone talk about Mary? This bitch married her STEP GRANDFATHER to inherit her family wealth?! I feel so bad for her son..

This is SO True!!! Mary has gotten a pass for her weirdness for years. People act like they just adore her. She has never even seemed to want to be on TV or around these ladies. She does the least and because she doesn't look like the stereotype of someone from Utah, she is given heaps of praise. Let's not even get into her stealing from her cult members at church!!! That again is just overlooked. 🙎

I'm sorry but her and Angie friendship storyline seems so forced and fake.

Again, where has it been overlooked? People wrote millions of posts about Mary’s church being a cult the last 4-5 years. The posts are still up. I think ya’ll are getting whiplash because she’s getting a redemption arc this season and people are giving Mary some grace and you don’t like it. Let’s call a spade a spade.

I also think Mary and Angie’s friendship is genuine. Mary has had no problem telling most of the women on that cast except for Meredith and Bronwyn that she doesn’t like them, and to their faces. Angie would be no exception. I also doubt she’d be sharing her private business with her if she wasn’t a trusted person in her life. The woman just doesn’t care to mince words.

Consider the possibility that Angie was the first one on the cast to make Mary feel safe and heard and that’s her real friend. Seems that way to me, and we all need friends like that.

Who needs to make Mary feel safe. She has been a horrible housewife, she's used racist language, never participates in anything, and is really not all there, mentally. She has the working gs of a 12 yr old girl whose mom kept in the closet. 🤷‍♀️

🤷🏽‍♀️Mary I guess (wanting to feel safe). Like I said earlier in this post, I’m not excusing her. Her background dictates a lot of her behavior. In addition to Robert Jr., that’s why people have given her a pass.

I’d also say her comments were more bigoted and ignorant than they were racist. She usually uses the wrong words to describe what she’s trying to say (pornography instead of predator; Mexicans when she meant Cartel). She shouldn’t have said what she said. She was wrong. But don’t forget there are housewives on the other shows who have said and done more abhorrent things than Mary and people have gone about their business. This is a popularity contest. If your favorite housewife says or does something terrible, you’ll find a way to excuse it because you like them (universal you).
