I screwed up bad. Any suggestions?

So, the other day, I bought this hunk of junk off of some discount pitchfork dealer. It turns out there was a reason he didn't show it to me beforehand.

So, the most obvious issue being that it pokes me whenever I try to stab OP, but the pole is also to long. Gais, halp.

Simple solution here. Use the Darth Maul method of weapon handling. You'll be storming the gates with the best of them yet

But only in the extended universe. I don't want my angry revolts ending in me dissolving into obscurity!

Slightly less simple solution. Get better at double ended weapons than Darth Maul.

Also, he was alone. Hopefully our op will be part of an angry mob. One of us is never as strong as all of us
