Bro you need to chill out too. Let him spend his money how he wishes. You are not his mom, and while a 4080 is already great for 1440p, in story games even a 4090 struggles with path tracing… I know he seems to wanna get 360fps stable and that’s just not doable in many engines, but a 5090 plus a 9800x3d would be an upgrade, I’m never gonna argue it’s a wise financial move, but that’s for OP to decide
