Give Peace a Chance - I hope the new rulers abide with their vows to protect minority groups

This title is bad. Assad loyalists ambushed a group of police officers and killed 14 people yesterday. This article is about that, but presented in a vacuum, it’s clearly misleading the average western viewer to think this is a bad thing.

Not only are they not “new rulers”, they’re an interim government until elections can be held, but they’re currently protecting ALL groups in Syria by fighting back the remaining Assad loyalists. That’s what this article is about

Fuck off with the weird backhanded remarks. They put up Christmas trees. The Christians are safe. They’ve promoted women’s education. The women are safe. Not only is there no one for you to swoop in and be a white savior for in this situation, but all the non-Arab and non-Muslim groups in Syria you suddenly sympathize with so much have made no complaints against the scary evil inhuman Arab Muslim men. Just mind your business and leave the Middle East alone for once
