Some of you all are the problem. Our politics should be boring. This isn't a spectacle. It's not about "fun"

Agree but disagree. People who vote for Trump because he's interesting and fun or whatever are dumb. But not watching the debate because it's boring is reasonable, especially here where everyone is voting Harris/Walz regardless. All of us, including you, are watching this debate for entertainment, not education.

To be fair, I doubt anyone here gives a shit about the substance of what the candidates say. For those who are already locked in, the only reason to watch is to worry about if your side is going to win or not. So it comes down to hoping your side does good at the spectacle rather than getting dunked on spectacularly. If it's a boring debate and you are an educated voter who knows who you are going to vote for already, why bother watching?
