Sounds like someone didn't want to get fact checked

u/southernNJ-123 Oct 02 '24

He walked off the last 60 minutes interview a few years ago because he was directly fact checked.

u/CFreder469 Oct 02 '24

Yeah and then came back and slammed an empty binder down in front of Stahl claiming that was his health plan. The book was complete empty. He doesn’t have the balls to go back with his empty notebooks

u/Fantastic_Fox4948 Oct 02 '24

It was more of a concept of an empty notebook. That empty notebook contained every single productive idea he has had for 30 years. He is better at binders full of women.

u/Constant-Whole5090 Oct 02 '24

Better at binder full of Russian hookers that pee on beds. There you go, corrected it

P-tape = pedophile tape. Everyone assumes it means urine. After reading the court documents about Katie Johnson, I believe that putz has many tapes of orange geezer raping kids. And not just little girls either.

-1

u/comicsandpoppunk Oct 02 '24

Is that last line necessary?

Is raping little boys somehow worse than raping little girls to you?

I don't care if he's gay or bi, I care that he's a rapist and a paedophile.

u/GroupPrior3197 Oct 02 '24

His supporters care.

I don't see them caring about him raping a girl.. but a boy MIGHT horrify them.

They don't care about women and girls.

u/smartyhands2099 Oct 02 '24

Unfortunately, for the evangelical crowd there is a humongous difference, so let's run with that. They will find a way to justify cis abuse, but anything non-traditional will horrify them, so yes it is necessary, sadly. A non-gender conforming sex crime might be the only way to break through that.

🧐✊🏻💦

Fuck, man.

I remember how much of a big deal the “binders” thing was, back when it happened.

How far we’ve fallen. How fucking low the bar is now.

u/p____p Oct 02 '24

Binders? Dean scream, potatoe -- all these are disqualifying.

"Grab them by the pussy?" Make fun of a disabled reporter? Use campaign funds to pay off a porn star you claim not to have had sex with? "They're eating the pets!"? ..."transgender surgery on illegal aliens who are in jail"???? -- all these are very presidential and good.

11

u/FalkorDropTrooper Oct 02 '24

Losers didn't have collective power back then.

1

u/kaimonster1966 Oct 04 '24

Is there ANYTHING at all that this criminal can’t do to ruin his chances of running for president???

He himself said he could shoot/kill someone in plain daylight on 5th avenue and people still wouldn’t care!

The MAGA crowd really has no/low standards!

1

u/Oneinterestingthing Oct 05 '24

Dont forget abortion after birth, execution of babies,,,unbelievable we still have to listen to this blob of shit

-5

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24

The transgender surgery thing is confirmed true btw

1

u/leenpaws Oct 04 '24

i have no idea why less than 1% of the population is such a big concern to anyone.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '24

They literally weren't, at all, until 10-15 years ago. What changed?

1

u/johnychingaz Oct 05 '24

It is the greatest binder in the history or the world. No one’s ever seen anything like it..

17

u/hypocrisy-identifier Oct 02 '24

The way Leslie casually walked over to trump’s great “plan” and started flipping thru the blank pages … the expression on an intelligent person’s face when they know they’re being scammed. Priceless.

11

u/Aggressive_Elk3709 Oct 02 '24

Ah, so that was his concept of a plan in that binder

5

u/MrGeno Oct 02 '24

Binders Full of Lies.

1

u/Silent-Ad934 Oct 02 '24

No, that's not at all true, not at all true. They were big, magnificent binders, full of all kinds of great ideas, plans the likes of which people have never even seen before. Some people say 'where is this plan, we've never seen this plan', they say maybe its written in invisible ink. Maybe if Hillary's emails were written in invisible ink we wouldn't be in this mess, but we're gonna have the best healthcare, we're gonna have it and its gonna be fantastic.

Fact shaming

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24

Didn’t 60 minutes deny the Hunter laptop story to his face?

15

u/unexpectedhalfrican Oct 02 '24

Is that the one with John Dickerson where he asked if Trump stood by some shitty comments he made about Obama and Trump said, "I don't stand by anything"??

14

u/BubbhaJebus Oct 02 '24

People who don't like to be fact checked are called "liars".

18

u/Ok-Construction-6465 Oct 02 '24

Here’s where he walked off, like a petulant baby: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ghg-ND6cPmQ

11

u/Rivendel93 Oct 02 '24

I remember this, "I think we've got enough for an interview, alright bye."

It's like, could you be more embarrassing lol.

5

u/bang_the_drums Oct 02 '24

His hands look so tiny when he does that too, little Vienna sausage fingers.

1

u/roasted-paragraphs Oct 02 '24

So confirmed Trump can't count to 60 then?

2

u/BubbhaJebus Oct 02 '24

A good leader eagerly welcomes tough questions and is not afraid of fact-checking.

2

u/saruin Oct 02 '24

Such a pathetic weak little man.

1

u/Mysterious_Tax_5613 Oct 02 '24

Never admit responsibility. Deny, deny, deny. - Roy Coen. He taught Trump well.

1

u/FrenchToastSenpai Oct 02 '24

And yet some in the comments staunchly believe he was "attacked" during this interview smh

1

u/Shnazzyone Oct 02 '24

Yep, in 2020. He couldn't handle tough questions. Has avoided legitimate interviews ever since.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24

That's why this year he's trying the bold new strategy of avoiding getting fact checked by not speaking in coherent sentences.

-26

u/Ok_Research1392 Oct 02 '24

The the facts Leslie Stahl cited were flat out wrong.

9

u/southernNJ-123 Oct 02 '24

lol. Nope. Good try magat. 😂

7

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24

Ya gotta list the facts you think were wrong otherwise you sound like Napoleon Dynamite "Do the chickens have large talons?"

1

u/Ok_Research1392 Oct 02 '24

https://youtu.be/FdAh2HJ98WE?si=mmlj_VhLijvi062x "They spied on my campaign and they got caught". Minute 13:54 They did get caught. Now the FBI and feds spy on all of us. They even buy cookie tracking info on us. https://www.wired.com/story/fbi-purchase-location-data-wray-senate/

96

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

Bone spurs coward.

72

u/Easy-Concentrate2636 Oct 02 '24

He’s afraid of real journalists.

17

u/hamatehllama Oct 02 '24

Anyone who's not a sycophant is "fake news" to him because his feelings are so fragile.

12

u/Easy-Concentrate2636 Oct 02 '24

Man’s ego is composed of Cheeto dust glued together.

1

u/Relevant_Leather_476 Oct 02 '24

He couldn’t handle a true journalist who would stand up to his constant interjections.. Where’s a Russet when you need him ??!! ( RIP) no one wants to lose their jobs but why is holding either candidate accountable?!

66

u/ArenjiTheLootGod Oct 02 '24

That or he/his handlers are trying to hide his decline as much as possible. Man has been conspicuously absent from his own campaign this election, they're hiding something. Why else would they keep pushing JD Vance to constantly make an ass of himself in public if it somehow wasn't more preferable than putting the actual candidate out there?

I mean, besides the obvious fact that JD Vance making an ass of himself is good content and is almost as funny as that time Trump got Covid.

2

u/mikeisaphreek Oct 04 '24

Maybe so they can have a reason why they will lose and can blame Vance

23

u/0utF0x-inT0x Oct 02 '24

He likes to promote his rhetoric without any questions or challenges in true fear mongering authoritarian fashion.

-1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '24

How is Kamala going on the hostile interview trail at the moment?

24

u/boredonymous Oct 02 '24

After all the literal bullshit he's been spouting in the last two days... I'd say he made the right move.

9

u/YoungProphet115 Oct 02 '24

Neither did JD Vance at the debate tonight, lmao!

4

u/InfernalDiplomacy Oct 02 '24

This and what everyone has said below. I do not know the viewership of 60 mins, but much of the senior crowd, a news story done by 60 mins carried weight. Giving Harris 20 or so minutes free access on 60 mins less than three weeks before the election to me falls in the “bold move Cotton, let’s see how it plays out” ie pretty damned stupid.

3

u/lionzion Oct 02 '24

Softball vs. Hardball

2

u/Plus-Ad-940 Oct 02 '24

He wanted CBS to sanewash his responses.

1

u/smartyhands2099 Oct 02 '24

He's fact checked ALL THE TIME. He doesn't want to be CUT OFF lol.

1

u/user64x Oct 02 '24

No, no, no. It sounds like someone wants to keep their lies.

1

u/Mueltime Oct 02 '24

He had a concept of a fact.

1

u/Even-Sport-4156 Oct 02 '24

I guess they won’t accept the “alternate facts”

-1

u/Retail_Degenerate Oct 02 '24

Yet he wins this election regardless. Crazy how campaign strategies work right?

-2

u/dreweydecimal Oct 02 '24

He wants an apology from them because they accused the Russians of owning the laptop when in reality, we now know it was crooked Joe’s son all along.

2

u/MacEWork Oct 02 '24

Okay grandpa, let’s get you back to the home.

-5

u/Glittering_Win_9677 Oct 02 '24

True. Harris refuses to be fact- checked so they don't do it to her.

1

u/atlas3121 Oct 02 '24

Yeah. It's fucking wild that when people tell the truth or just simply don't say outright easily verifiably false things, they don't get fact checked? Yet when someone lies through their teeth like saying illegal immigrants are eating pets or something, they do get fact checked. The liberal bias reality has is so unfair.

1

u/leenpaws Oct 04 '24

tbh, i thought he was joking because it came out of nowhere

1

u/After-Balance2935 Oct 03 '24

She is really tough isn't she?

-6

u/Ur-Biggest_Op Oct 02 '24

Kamala is no different
