How does this guy look out of shape and in shape at the same time?

Kayaking but also 12 beers might have something to do with it

Sounds kind of like hashing. We are a worldwide drinking club with a running problem. Run/jog/walk anywhere from 3-6 miles usually and have a beer or three along the way. It's largely a social thing, but it's still fun.

Find one near you! This is for North America, but there are links to get you to international kennels.

That web site is a 90’s fever dream

It's hosted by volunteers for free. Bubble gum, Popsicle sticks, and duct tape keep it running.

It really is. Most of us are not pretentious people (as evidenced by an ugly site that works OK) who just want to break free a little and have some fun. If you find a spot near you, I think you should at least check it out.

Unfortunately the website is not for all of North America, just the US :( I'll definitely be looking into events in Canada, though! Sounds like a blast.

Near the top of the page, click on FIND ANY KENNEL IN THE WORLD.

I found how to get it, I'm just saying you specified that website was for North America, but is actually only for the US.

Sorey. North America minus Canada. Central and South America are on this. I thought it was also for Canada.

It's pretty fun. The trail is usually laid out in dots of flour, so you have to go searching for the correct trail, and that leads to beer. The fastest runners find trail and have to come back when they find out they took a bad path, and the slower runners/walkers end up catching up because the trail has already been found.

I started 26 years ago and was absent for maybe the last 10 except for special runs, but now I'm back and getting a little bit back into shape.
