It has been 5 months since my reddit account got hacked and stolen. Reddit has done nothing to help me

I kept submitting and emailing Reddit about my hacked account. They seemingly froze the account and deleted the NSFW stuff posted by it, but I only get a bot reply telling me to request a password change ... which I can't do since I don't receive a link to do it. Can I get a human to help me finally?

My first post about it

My second post about it

Nothing has changed. I don't receive any emails to change my password.

We're all a bunch of volunteers here and Reddit users just like you; we can't get you in touch with a person. The way to do that is through filing a help request.

It can still, unfortunately, be difficult to get a response that way, but I'm afraid it's the only option Reddit gives us.

I've done that for months. I keep replying to their bot emails and then get the same message again. I guess there's nothing to do and this account will remain hacked.

Reddit wants to IPO. That's it only motivation.

You don't get a big revenue-per-employee valuation by having people respond to help requests.

I'd recommend visiting r/NewToReddit. There's a lot of information there about how to increase karma, among other things that are good to know when you're new to this place.

Your best bet is to get a whole new account and start all over again. Everything that was in that old account it's gone and you're not getting it back and sadly there's nobody to care. A few years back a YouTuber got hacked and a hacker was posting stuff to his channel for months after the fact.
