OPINION Trump will completely decimate Joe Biden's mental well being if he gets on the debate stage with him.

Trump is probably the best debater alive and Joe Biden has mental health issues. I believe if they get on the stage together, Trump will destroy Biden and within five minutes, Joe will run off of the stage crying.

OPINION 90% of matchmatics material learned in grade school will never be used in real life

Out of the millions of kids who are being forced to learn how to find the cubic area of a sphere, probably 10,000 of them will actually go into a field that requires the skill. Forcing everyone in school to learn mundane and useless equations that are based on theoretical principles with no real life application examples or reasoning is pure evil. Kids who don't understand the material are thrown out in the rain. Their GPA's suffer just because their minds don't understand a certain subject like the state demands they should.

To be clear, I'm not blaming teachers or school officials. I am blaming national and state school board.

OPINION Horizontal button holes are superior to vertical

The buttons will pull vertically horizontally, so having the thread fall into the corner of the slit will provide a more secure fastening. Vertical holes focus the pull to the center of the slit, and have a greater chance of unfastening on their own.

Of course, the orientation depends entirely on the direction of force when the fastening is stressed, but the most common buttons (shirts, pants) have a vertical horizontal pull, so that's the perspective I'm using.

TL;DR: Vertical button holes can suck it.

*Edit: I was tired when I wrote this, switched up some words, my apologies

OPINION Lego blocks don't really hurt to be stepped on.

I've seen many complaints about lego blocks being painful to step on. Many memes (especially older ones), a lot of jokes, and people being mad about stepping on them.

Firstly, they aren't that bad and could be much worse. They aren't really sharp or anything. I don't get what the big deal is. I've stepped on them and it doesn't hurt as much as stepping on an unplugged charging cord.

Second, just pick up your things, or your kids things, or teach your kids to pick up after themselves. It's not that hard to avoid having lego blocks on the ground to step on in the first place.

OPINION Fondant just ruins cakes

It is too sweet and just ruins a cake. Even though it looks nice, it makes the whole cake taste terrible and everyone either scrapes it off or just eats it because they don’t want to contribute to all the food waste. It’d save time and food if people just don’t put it on perfectly good cakes.

OPINION It's fine to judge people without knowing them.

You don't have to know someone to know that you don't like their friends, or how they present themselves, it their political views (if they make it clear). If you see someone you don't want to be involved with, and you instantly know it, go ahead and avoid them.

OPINION If parents don't vaccinate their children and their child dies they should be charged with neglect and manslaughter.

This obviously doesn't count if there is a legitimate medical reason stopping the child from being vaccinated.

Edit - Child dies due to not having the vaccination.
