With them rivaling the tool truck brands, I think they need to start offering different colors, just like snap-on and matco, etc. all do.

I received a harbor freight tool for Christmas that I am thinking of returning. I don't want any $ back, just exchange for something higher priced and pay the difference. I don't want to contact the purchaser and I doubt they even have the receipt. I do have their phone number so the purchase was probably under that

This is a very high quality set that I bought for myself 6ish months ago. I can report they are strong and high quality. Previously I bought the smaller set of 5” icon snap ring pliers to remove some 90-degree external snap rings in a dana44 differential out of a manual c4 corvette. Rear half-axel yoke seal replacement. Notoriously tedious to do.

The 5” snap ring plier set is okay but didn’t have enough range to remove the snap rings in question. This other larger set did the trick and much faster than the dude I watched do it in an instructional video. His pliers kept slipping off the ring over and over again. These icon ones got it done in 2-3 minutes. I paid full price for them and think they were damn well worth it. At $50 it’s a steal.

Always wanted a Bauer cordless soldering iron, got a bonus light too. (I took it apart and soldered on an xt60) plus I have xt60's on everything, so now I can power many things.

Can someone explain the difference as if I’m 5? New to the tool world and want to get into the Hercules ecosystem as a DIYer. Just needed it for around the house if I ever need to put furniture or stuff together. Picked up the compact one for the Hercules deal where you bought the 5ah battery and charger for $99.99 and get the free tool.

Got a “gift” that was my secret favorite and thought it puts those mini toolboxes to shame! Annoyed that I may have to smell the most generic version of vanilla for the next few years or so though. Once it’s empty, the possibilities are endless!

I bought 2 of these lights for the garage during the black Friday sale. They were insanely bright so I needed to do something to tone them down a little. Bought a diffuser panel at Lowes and put it over them. They are still pretty darn bright, but now they don't make your eyes bleed. My install isn't pretty, but it gets the job done. Tried to take a picture with the light on, but the camera doesn't really pick up the "softening" effect very well.

Replacing some old tools this weekend.

I have a problem … I didn’t buy everything

Someone returned these jack stands from the recalled batch still in the original box, never opened. The slapper on it dates back from 2017. They had these in a box for 7 years. Thankfully they never used them. Please check your jack stands and return the recalled ones!

I have a set of precision screwdrivers already. Mainly for electronics. But I keep seeing these Icon ones for sale. What are the use cases for these? Especially for only four pieces? Same with the Torx screwdrivers.

I’m a DIY auto dude. I’m guessing these are more appropriate than the precision electronic ones for heavier duty electronics?

Can ICON hang with Knipex? Time will tell but first impressions are good. Very comfortable and seemingly solid components. Going back today to get the parrot pliers and possibly their Knipex clone. I’m very pleased with my ICON so far

My ridiculously expensive kick pedals didn’t come with a case(you think it would for $1200) and the case they sell looked cheap. So this Apache case fit perfect and is super sturdy
