I forgot to include a spoiler tag earlier, but there is one there now.

The spoiler is in the title :-) it's fairly obvious a spoiler relates to the DC!

Might be good to leave until the next day or put less in the title in future for posts about DC rounds? It was obvious to me it was Colombia but not the SW but for new players even Colombia might not have been obvious.

Yeah if I had seen this before I did the challenge I would have done way better. I just plonked somewhere in the middle.

I think this occasion is a coincidence? I know a few roads above it, the 26, does have a second google car next to the main one. I don’t think Ive seen this one before though

Can there be 2 cars because of the rainy climate? So there are 2 cars in case one takes blurry pictures because of the rain and humidity?

No, they just start at the same time and place every day, and they're often told to map places near each other, so they'll take the same route to get there.

It lowkey happens a lot tbh. I can’t remember where exactly but I think I saw the same thing in a rural town in Australia, and I’ve seen it in the states a fair amount. I think they probably send them out together to lighten the load on drivers

Fun fact: That road is nicknamed trampolín de la muerte (trampolin of death) due to the amount of accidents that happened there.
It's considered one of the most dangerous roads in Colombia, but of course the death road in Bolivia is much more famous since it became a tourist attraction (I did bicycle ride the Bolivian death road, very fun)

I’m pretty sure this has been known, it might have been in a rainbolt challenge.
