I just reached master for the first time ever and for some reason whenever I cue a moving game it matches me up with a random silver 3 player who completely destroys me. Like 6000 - 0. I'm not the greatest player for sure but when I play no move or nmpz I win a fair amount of games and I never lose 6000-0. Who are these insane silver players does anyone know?

So I wanted a couple geoguessr pins for Christmas for a bag that I use all the time. When I got them, the Geoguessr team threw in this extra that wasn’t listed in the shop and I also don’t know what it represents. Looking for info on it, it’s also for sale if you want it feel free to dm me. Do you ever tell someone is just blatantly cheating? Disclaimer, I’m silver division so definitely not crème de la creme or the type of competition where people are routinely hitting 5ks.

I will have some rounds where someone is hitting 5k pluses where I know they are for sure googling a restaurant name or something and then guessing.

I know lucky guesses can happen, I also know some people are really good. But at the same time you’re telling me you guessed the exact fucking small town in chile where the landscape was indistinguishable from any other LatAm country and the only clue was one restaurant name? Piss off.

Edit: all the hate and people way over complicating this. Someone is going toe to toe with me, making shitty picks when it’s a non Latin language country, then gets a <1 mile pick on a non top 3 city? Yeah okay

Hello, my 12 yr old son really really wanted geoguessr so he got the “unlimited pro account” with some of his birthday money. Unfortunately when we login on the desktop through the web it recognized the login but says we just have a “regular” account and the play is very limited. When we use the same login credentials on the mobile app it DOES recognize it as a pro account but he does not want to play on a phone.
I have been back and forth with customer service but it’s been no help. I am trying to get a refund (although they obviously make that near impossible). Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

Hi, I came back to this game a few days ago after not playing for a while and got placed in silver 2 for some reason. Now I have to wait a long time to get back to playing high skill ppl.. is there a way to skip divisions without waiting for the season to end? I want to be able to play NM and NMPZ
