Guy got so many second chances that i would believe it only when see it. It's some mental stuff, if it were first-second year rookie general sentiment would have been very different and rightfully so. But some people defending him still, lmao
You said it yourself - it would be different if he were a rookie, but he's shown himself to be a capable driver over the years. This is almost certainly his last chance, but I don't understand the hate boner so many people have for him.
Daniel has more race wins than all of the drivers on the grid besides Lewis, Max, and Fernando. It's looking like he might be a has-been, but to act like he didn't deserve another chance after McLaren is insane.
Some people just don't like charisma. If they're given an anonymous chance to show it online, they'll be savage.
He was good. He's struggling. It's possible he'll pull out of it, and it's possible he won't. He'll always be at least an 8 time race winner, and a Monaco winner, and people will look back and say he was very good at his peak, like Coulthard or Massa or something.
