not foodscam - Seems to be an error Hey Guys!!
Hey guys , I’ve seen a lot of hateful/disrespectful comments here recently. Please remember to be respectful with others on this subreddit. It’s about food. No reason to hate / argue.

shitty food Kewal Ahuja SGF Faces Legal Heat Over Investor Disputes
Kewal Ahuja, the founder of SGF (Spice Grill Flame), finds himself at the center of escalating legal battles, with franchise owners and investors alleging fraud and contractual breaches. The controversies highlight a stark contrast between SGF’s promotional claims and its operational realities.
SGF operates under two franchise models: FOFO (Franchise-Owned, Franchise-Operated) and FOCO (Franchise-Owned, Company-Operated). Investors in the FOCO model were promised monthly returns of ₹37,500 while SGF managed the operations. However, several investors have reported that these guarantees were not upheld. For instance, a prominent outlet in Sector 31, Gurgaon, was abruptly shut down within a year, leaving investors without payments or communication from the company.
Despite claims of operating over 30 outlets and offering lucrative returns, archived web data indicates a significant decline in SGF’s network. Approximately 70% of its outlets have ceased operations. Under Kewal Ahuja’s leadership, SGF has rebranded its website, omitting details about the number of active outlets—a move that raises concerns about transparency.
The legal proceedings, spearheaded by New Horizon (The Law Firm), include two cases filed in the District Court of Rohini. Case No. CS/DJ/302/2023 aims to recover guaranteed payments promised to investors, while Case No. CS(Comm) 6835/2024 seeks full restitution of invested amounts. In its defense for the first case, SGF cites financial strain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic as the reason for non-payment. However, mediation efforts in the second case have stalled, with SGF yet to submit a formal defense.
The restaurant at the heart of these disputes, launched during the pandemic, closed within a year, leaving investors to bear significant financial losses. As these legal challenges unfold, scrutiny on Kewal Ahuja and SGF’s practices continues to grow. The outcomes of these cases could have far-reaching consequences for SGF’s future and its stakeholders. Read More

shitty food bauducco chocolate panettone mold
This is not the first time me and my family bought chocolate Panettone and it came with mold. Me and family buy Panettone with fruits for the holidays or special events, its been a tradition we had in our home country but when we moved to Maryland the only Panettone brand we could find was Bauducco. Even if we did not find this brand of Panettone as rich as the one back home, we still enjoyed eating it together and we got excited to see that there was a chocolate version here as well. Unfortunately, the chocolate panettone is one of the worst purchases I have made. It always came moldy. No matter what store we bought it from it always had mold, we had to buy two just in case the first one was moldy. Sometimes the only panettone available was the chocolate one and it became a game of chance. I stopped buying from that brand for a while when I moved to Virginia, where we were able to find better brands. I recently went to visit my mom and bought two panettones one from a different brand and the other the chocolate panettone from bauducco. We ate the first brand together and enjoyed it but this morning when my mom wanted to eat the chocolate panettone.... it had mold. I am sick and entire of this happening and I am more angry now with bauducco because my mom was looking forward to the chocolate panettone and could not enjoy it.
I will never buy from Bauducco again.
