As Santa and his team finish their preparations, his sleigh will soon be visible on FlightRadar24!
https://www.flightradar24.com/blog/santa-tracker/
As we do with other big events, we have created this megathread to contain all Santa related tracking posts.
Wishing you all a happy and safe holiday season, and happy tracking!

As per the title; I have seen a significant rise in toxic behaviour and downvoting any newbie’s posts. These people want to learn more and we should be happy they’re sharing an interest with us.
Let’s work together to be a better and friendlier community, let’s end the toxicity!
If you see a thread which triggers you, just don’t reply to it! If a thread is SUPER OBVIOUS to you, instead of being rude consider providing them your insight/knowledge.
Working together is the only way our community can thrive, but it’s going down hill.
Mods, if this post is “off topic” please consider what I’ve said and write a pinned post also acknowledging that this subreddit has turned a bit toxic when it comes to how people react to newbies.
We all want to learn and share our interests, that’s why we are here! We all started as newbies, so remember that!

Before you post a screenshot of a random aircraft with no flight number or registration, think about a couple things:
Is the aircraft type usually used for commercial service or could it be privately owned?
Is the aircraft coming from or going towards somewhere it shouldn't, or somewhere very strange
Is the aircrafts altitude or speed vastly irregular for the aircraft type, compared to it's typical operation
To conclude, when the CIA actually launches an operation you can bet your ass YOU aren't going to see it unfold on civilian radar.

Hey everyone,
I'm currently in the process of making a Discord server for the new game launched by FR24, Skycards. (iOS / Android)
I'm looking for any possible assistance as right now I'm the only one working on this. If you're interested I can DM you an invite code.
I'm looking forward to releasing this server to the aviation community.

I understand the US Air Force stratotanker being heavily tracked but I can’t make sense of the seemingly random commercial flights?
I would have expected something like Elon Musks private plane on here. Will it not show up on FlightRadar24?
Loving the app! Cheers

Howdy r/flightradar24! Based on user feedback, we have decided to implement a new weekly discussion thread to capture all questions related to aircraft in the Top 10 most tracked.
Beginning next Monday, Automoderator will take over posting duties and sticky a new thread each week. All posts related to the Top 10 (ie, why is this flight being tracked, why is this #1, why are 30k people watching this one, etc) will be removed and redirected to post here.
Emergencies and FR24 Featured Flights (basically anything that FR24 sends a push notification for) will be allowed to stay up provided they follow existing posting guidelines and are not duplicate posts.
Please feel free to share any feedback below or via the modmail function.
Thank you!

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators — some of our own included! — depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep our communities on-topic and spam-free.
On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit and the flight tracking community, and we truly believe this change will make it difficult to impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we’re open to other action, including continued blackouts and utilizing the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
Complain. Message the mods of /r/reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message /u/reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /r/reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the coordinated mod effort at /r/ModCoord.
Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

Seriously, it's #36759 most tracked but I don't know why.........
And everyone knows you always make the left at Albuquerque.
r/flightradar24 • u/Wisemantlepiece • Feb 11 '24
Screenshot is from the watch.
Doesn't have a lot of detail in it, the app opens on a list of close by flights and tapping on a flight will bring up the map with only that flight.
Wish it had all the flights like the phone app or website but still pretty cool
