Family rant
Can’t even shit in peace. Whenever I go take a shit, like the moment I walk in when I haven’t even pulled down my pants, my dad always complains that I’m taking hours. He always says that I’m too busy on my phone instead of shitting (obviously I’m not doing that, that’s disgusting), and whenever I try saying I’m not he just doesn’t believe me. He would respond: “No you are, you think I wouldn’t know? Do you think I’m stupid?” Honestly I do think he’s pretty stupid, and delusional (like paranoid level delusional). Anyways, can’t even take a shit in peace, literally.

That's pretty rough. Leave your phone somewhere and when he starts on his weird rant, just tell him where it is and to leave you alone...unless you're worried he will try to go through it.

Sorry, your dad sounds weird. When I grew up in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with 3 other people, I generally had no idea when/how/what other people were doing in the bathroom. Same situation when I was a parent and had 2 kids. Unless someone was ill, no one else bothered with who was in which bathroom.
Do you have only 1 bathroom in your home? Does your dad have IBS? You probably cannot change your father, but you can be assured that his behavior is Not Normal. Grow up and get your independence and get out of that situation.
You could try to reply to his "Do you think I wouldn't know" rant with "Dad, surely you must have better things to think about instead of me on the toilet."

Usually if someone is accusing you of something, they are doing that something themselves...

I have to admit I take a looonnnnggg time in the bathroom. By to be fair I am on my tablet playing games while listening to stuff on my phone and my dog is camped out on the floor next to me and thankfully the rest of the family has two other bathrooms. So I don’t really feel bad about it. 😏I’m mom. I’ve earned it. 😆 and I don’t care how long everyone else takes when they are im there. So they don’t give me crap. 💩 no pun intended.

1) before you go in, ask him if he needs to use the bathroom 2) lock the door 3) headphones
