Six babies that you know of. Nice job, Texas.

And that's just one county.

Texas firefighter paramedic. I live in a different county than the post, however I can state for a fact just in my city we have had 2-3(I am iffy on the 3rd baby but for sure 2) babies dropped off at fire stations in just the past 2 months. In almost 10 years in this job I haven't even seen one. Much less possibly 3 in 2 months

Just don't take the Baby Moses law too literally.

Imagine abandoning a newborn baby

It is a sad choice that is made out of desperation. I hope that Iโ€™m never in a position to have to make such a choice

I can respect this comment.

Imagine being forced to have a child you can't take care of or don't want.

Forced? Aside from rape, which should be punishable by death, when is a person forced to have unprotected sex?

Texas alone had over 26,000 rape-related pregnancies in the 16 months after their abortion ban went into effect. Contraceptives aren't 100% effective. If you can't legally get an abortion nearby, and can't afford to go to another state for an abortion, then you're essentially being forced to have a kid.

If men could get pregnant, there would be drive-thru clinics.

Texas resident here. Theyโ€™re throwing around the idea of banning pregnant women from interstate travel.

u/Spiritual-Bad-5739 Aug 27 '24

That is terrible. I hope every one of the rapists has been found and charged. And you are correct, contraceptives are not 100%, but what other options are there, aside from abstinence?

Abortion

And aside from killing babies

u/BaconEater101 Aug 27 '24

I think women matter more then unborn babies sorry

-5

u/Spiritual-Bad-5739 Aug 27 '24

Glad that you see them as actual unborn babies. I believe both matter equally

Well, seeing that Texas allows rapists to sue their victims for custody rights, and lets rapists turn in their victims to law enforcement if they seek an abortion, the best option is rights for women.

Did your stupid little rat brain forget about unplanned pregnancies?

-1

u/Spiritual-Bad-5739 Aug 27 '24

Do those insults make you feel better?

17

u/PicklesAndCapers Aug 27 '24

Yeah. I absolutely despise people like you who can't exercise a rational thought to save their fucking life.

This country's slow attempt at backsliding into the dark times is ENTIRELY to blame on regressives like you.

1

u/Spiritual-Bad-5739 Aug 27 '24

This country.. lol.. Says the person who has more than likely never done a single thing for it

13

u/PicklesAndCapers Aug 27 '24

I pick up trash in Oregon's National Parks during the wet season to help keep more trash out of our rivers and lakes.

I don't know how that's related to you being a regressive waste of air, but that's about the level of intellect I'd expect from a worthless pro-lifer.

Imagine being this unrealistic just to further your argument.
