I love this; excellent breakdown. Racializing in porn has always made me uncomfortable because I can kind of feel that energy and it's a little uncomfortable (I'm white btw). Crazy how just allowing yourself to have fun with sex and explore it in a healthy way is SO discouraged in this culture. At times by both sides.

Example: As a young teenage liberal, I felt like I was a problematic chauvinist for feeling attraction to women. It was the protestant shame mixed with my consumption of rape culture/patriarchy discourse. Took a long time for me to not feel like a POS for having a sex drive.

We live in an objectively weird society, man.

It hurts watching Asians in porn cos my gf is Asian. Itโ€™s a weird thing to admit, but I watched Asian porn before I met my gf. Mindfuck

Iโ€™d, personally, not see an issue with watching Asian porn, unless either of the following are true:

  1. Thatโ€™s all you ever watch.
  2. You ask your GF to act like they do in porn (as a fair amount of Asian porn (produced in the West, intended for those who fetishize it) would be the stereotypical stuff, like school girls, or anime characters).

If the race is not the focus of the video, it should be ok.

But of course, if you feel bad, And donโ€™t want to watch it shine anymore, you donโ€™t have to.

If the race were not the focus of the video then why would it be called Asian porn?
