Submission Requirements

Sources from the EU's official websites, publications, etc.
Third-party sources, such as interviews or news reports, that either:
- ...contain verbatim quotations by officials of the EU who are mentioned by name.
- ...use specific official EU data/publications as sources that might not be mentioned by title in the article, but are mentioned by author (authors can be institutions) and are easy to find.
Editorials, opinions, columns, or blogs by people who are not officials of the EU must draw on the elements mentioned above to a significant degree.
No edited titles except the following: (1) you can use a short quote from an item in stead of its title if it is not clear enough, (2) you can also shorten a lengthy title by cutting out unnecessary words, as long as it does not change its meaning, (3) it is okay to reword the title or a quote from the item to make it clearer as long as it is in line with the theme/point being highlighted by the article itself and doesn't change the meaning (no cherry picking!) (4) it is also okay to expand abbreviations to their full form.
Uploaded screenshots, infographics, photos, or other official image files: Please provide a link to the source in a comment.
The official language is English. Submissions in languages other than English are permitted if there is no English language version. In such cases, please provide a machine translation or better, etc. in a comment.
We do not allow submissions that primarily focus on national politics.
We do not allow submissions that rely on leaked documents.
Due to the size of the European Parliament, social media posts from its regular members are discouraged and may be removed if there are too many at a time.

Submissions that do not meet the specific criteria above will be removed without notice.

Moderation
