Don’t mind my sourdough starter. She needs to be fed, haha. I’m new at cooking steaks so I’m not sure if I cut it correctly. Overall, a very solid meal!

This was so incredibly fun to make. I also made lemon bars from scratch that were incredible and forgot to photograph.

Wife and I are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, so we settled on delicious Indian food for our Christmas dinner. Not pictured: garlic Naan and hot and spicy Naan.

I used a combination of breasts and thighs, lightly flour and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt. Sear in pan with butter before adding to crockpot. Add a little chicken broth to pot and cook on low for 4-6 hrs. (It’ll fall apart with little to no effort) When the chicken is nearly done I boil some broth on the stove and add in my dough dumplings one at a time and let them cook until done. You can make your own, buy them frozen, or use canned biscuits. Turn down to a simmer and add your chicken with all the broth from the crock. Don’t want to leave any of that flavor behind. Let simmer until flavors blended. The flour you used for the chicken and when you rolled your dumplings will help it all thicken up a bit. Season to taste Enjoy.

I didn't feel like cooking a traditional Christmas meal today...we aren't big on Turkey and we OD' on ham for Thanksgiving 😆
