Question FMD permissions

Hey guys,question: anybody uses FMD from nulide (fdroid)? just degoogle and he is asking adm permissions but i'm scared and at the same time need something to track my phone and erase all in case of a stealling.

admin permission is necessary to erase the device data

Yes i know that, but is it safe for this app?

I think so. I gave it that permission for a few years, and haven't had an issue so far.
