Pretty nuts. 10x the active peak of a game that just came out with expansion content this year (Starfield)

That's way more impressive. Starfield is on Game Pass, myself & most people I know never bought the game on Steam. There's simply no need.

But Elden Ring sold like hotcakes on Steam, 2077 surpassing it is awesome.

In fairness to Starfield I imagine most people played on Xbox since it was on Game Pass - that's what I did. But just comparing on Steam the difference is crazy

Good. Maybe this will show Bethesda that their name doesn't carry weight anymore and they can't create lifeless worlds that players will mindlessly buy.

Hopefully they will try and be better now instead of being lazy and hope for modders to bring life to their games.
