This has to be a record.

Almost certainly a double yolker. Our girls do them occasionally - the size alone makes me wince.

I got one a bit bigger a few times. One of them had four smaller yolks in it.

We also got the occasional extra large double yolker egg from our hens. Be like a human trying to pass a honeydew/cantaloupe.

Congratulations, it’s twins! I’m always amazed when hens pull this off and walk away as if nothing happened.

One of mine laid one the other day. I felt bad for the poor girl.

I’ve been weighing them and taking notes. I got two 99 gram eggs in December.

My biggest was 112 grams. Lots of yelling from the coop that day. Probably a double yolker.

Incubate it!

Assuming it is fertile, can double yolk eggs hatch successfully?

Google says one of the embryos usually don't make it and the other can survive. There hasn't been a recorded case of Siamese chicks

Excuses the extra loud chicken-egg song (bawk, Bawk, BAWK!!). Poor girl, deserves extra treats for this effort.
