Heating a chicken coop/greenhouse
Has anyone used an aquarium heater in a garbage can to heat a green house? Thoughts on using it to keep the hens warm in the cold winter nights

Does anyone know of a fast closing remote chicken door. I need one to catch a released pet that is very skittish of people and will not let people close. It's getting really cold here so I don't have weeks to gain it's trust.

Hello,
Due to food sensitivities Red Bird Farm chicken is the only chicken I donât have a reaction to so I buy as much as I can when itâs available.
Does anyone know of a way to purchase a case of the Jumbo Chicken Tenders in Bulk by the case?
Thanks

I have a six month old Kadaknath hen and a white rooster. They have been raised together and now they only spend time together and don't get involved with other chickens.
The problem is my hen hasn't started laying eggs. Her diet is good and she isn't sick. Although she doesn't let other roosters mount her, she has the white rooster with her. Any recommendations on how to help her? Could it be because of her breed?
And my rooster doesn't crow neither. He never mates with other hens and prefers to stay away from the rest of the flock(Except the black hen). Any ideas why?

Is my girl doomed to not ever lay eggs? Her waddle never came in the way the other girlsâ did, and the other two have both been laying for three months now. Sheâs never had any other health issues except for poultry lice, which I treated with ESP four months ago. Havenât noticed any more on her.

This is Luna! (his name is Luna because when he was younger I thought he was a girl and I canât make myself call him by something else) I raised him since he was 4 days old and he is trained to come to me when I make a cluck sound. Luna is the best rooster Iâve ever had! I love him

I find whole chicken breast boring to eat, so I made patties today and they were much easier to eat than curry or grilled chicken. Does this still provide the same protein content?

Hello, I'm here today looking for advice/ideas.
The farm I work at has fancy chicken : they look nice, don't produce a lot if eggs and kinda easily every time one catches anything. They are here to entertain the clients that come to the farm and produce some eggs for us. I want to add stuff to their pen to either make it look nicer or have them use for their entertainment and fun. I've added a small dead tree hoping they would go on it but they don't.
We have 35 hens in a 30-40 square/m sand pen.v

Opened canned chicken and I see this weird gooey yellow stuff. Expiration date is 2027 so it shouldnât be expired but I donât know Iâm kind of scared to eat it. I thought once long ago when I opened the canned chicken it didnât come with that stuff. Got the can from lidl supermarket by the way.

I have a small free range flock and I have had 3 die of a heat attack. I have seen 2 of them have it . It came on sudden. They didn't look well so I put them separately. I saw two of them start breathing heavily then pass with in minutes. Did they eat something . What can I do to help the rest of the flock .
