Advice My terminally ill cat doesn't eat, I need suggestion to find solutions

Hi, few days ago I wrote this post https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comments/1hi1vyb/my_cat_is_terminally_ill_how_can_make_the_best/

My 14F cat has a sarcoma in her mouth, it is really big so she always keep her mouth open and tonge out. She has been unable to chew for a while and in the past 10 days she can only lick food.

We blend the food and dilute it with meat, fish or vegetable broth. This was ok the first few days, but she is hungry she wants our food so bad (usually she is never been interested) but she cannot chew so we cannot give it to her, only if blended. Since last night she refuse her food. We tried everything but she refuse to eat liquid again. We need desperatly to make her eat, but we don't know what to give her anymore or how. Please if you already had similar experience or have some ideas let me know. Thank you all.

EDIT: I edit because perhaps I wasnt clear. My cat wants to eat she is not refusing to eat, because she ask for food, she refuse the type of food we are giving to her. I'm aware her days are ending and I will have to put her down. Her Vet comes back from holidays on saturday, we are trying to keep going until that day. There are emergency vets in the clinic but I had unpleasent experience in the past. I know that day will come soon anyway, the fact is she walks, makes big jumps, wants to cuddle, drinks a lot and She has appetite, but She's tired from the food we have to her. My main concern is to keep her fed until saturday and we will see.

Put her down this is cruel.

The time for the final kindness has come. That is the solution. Anything else will prolong your cat's suffering.

There comes a point where it becomes crueler to keep them alive and the kind and more humane thing is euthanasia. I’m so sorry you have to go through this but she’s likely in horrible pain in her condition and it’s best to show her your love by putting her to rest and staying by her side while doing so.

Get together things she likes, soft blankets and such and just spend what time with her you can for now

Bid farewell to your friend. It’s hard to decide when but not eating is the major sign. I’m aware of the pain but unless surgery is an option there’s nothing more

It's time to put her down. Have some mercy. Don't let her starve to death while her stomach rumbles with hunger.

You have people on multiple subs telling you to euthanize and that you’re being cruel. It’s time to listen to the people. You said it yourself, she’s terminally ill. Euthanasia is the most loving thing you can do for a terminally ill pet.

Try baby food. Puréed meats like beef or chicken in the little jars. You may need a little syringe. I hope this can make her comfortable until the vet returns. If not, I hope you consider the emergency vet’s service. I am so sorry for your pain.

Edit: typo.

The kindest thing you can do is to help your cat over the rainbow bridge.

My cat Gus Gus died two years ago today from kidney failure. He spent 3 days in the emergency animal hospital and I was told the medication wasn’t working to reverse the kidney failure and in fact, his kidneys were getting worse. The vet assistant there said something to me that I’ve never forgotten “as difficult as this is, this is the kindest thing you can do for your Gus Gus. This is the time when he needs your help, he’s hurting and in pain. He knows you love him”

Your cat is in pain and suffering, your cat is alive but not living. The most passionate and loving thing you can do for your cat at this stage, is help them pass. As difficult and impossible it may feel, it’s the caring thing to do. Keeping them alive while suffering is cruel.

Edit: In the meantime, while you’re waiting to see your vet, try to help her eat with your hands or a spoon. Try wet food rather than crunchy food, it may be easier for her to lick up. I’m very sorry you have to go through this, I know how difficult it can be to have a cat that is terminally ill 😭
