Can anyone explain this about my cat?

Alright so I have a devon rex, coco who is like 8 years old and I notice her eyes frequently change color from green to orange, I have pictures of her with orange colored eyes and green colored eyes, super strange and I cant find anything about it, any ideas on what it is?

maybe it’s like hazel eyes in humans where the color of the eye you see partially depends on the environment lighting? I’ve met some white people with eyes like that
