Advice My cat is terminally ill, how can make the best out of the time we have?
My cat 14F has a sarcoma in her mouth. Untreatable. On monday the vet said She has one month left, but She got worse yesterday and I start to doubt she will make It until Christmas. My only wish for this Christmas is to spend It one last time with her but here we are. I love her so much and I'm crying like a kid since monday. She sleep a lot and doesn't want to play, so what can I do to make this last days the best they can be?

I just held my kitty on my chest and talked to him like I did with my newborn son. I know that he knew how much I loved him. He fell asleep in my arms ๐

Iโm sorry youโre dealing with this, especially at Christmas time. A few years ago I had to put my cat down on Christmas Eve and it was the saddest day. Just spend as much time with her as you can. ๐

So sorry, it's already painful during the year, but in this time hits the hardest

I'm sorry. When my baby had terminal renal failure 12 years ago, I made sure to just lay down with him and tell him how much I loved him. I let him know how much I appreciated him for getting me through some truly horrific things in my life and told him that it was okay to let go of it was too hard to hold on. He was my soul kitty. I just had him tattooed on my arm last month after finding an artist skilled enough to do him justice.

Ok, you might not be up for another vet visit, and I totally understand that, but, if you have the energy, call vets until you find one willing to give her prednisone.
It won't prolong her life, but it will make her SO much more comfortable and will reduce tissue swelling and inflammation.
My cat had a tumor that spread from his mouth to his brain. They gave him the same prognosis. I found a new vet, he went on prednisone and had a good quality life for another 9 months.
I searched out foods he would eat and ended up with adding water to a pouch food he enjoyed and also added water to cooked cocktail shrimp and mushed it for him.
I'm so sorry you are facing this. Losing a fur baby is hard, and even harder during the holidays.

Take her on a walk or car ride. If thier OK with that. I know some people take their animals out in strollers.

I love the idea tho She gets enough car ride going to the vet, i'm afraid this will cause stress to her

Does she cry during car rides? Also do you put her in a container for thr drives go the vet? If you do go on a drive put her in a cage then maybe let her out while your in the car. Let her roam around it. Getting her back in might be a trick though. Maybe out her on a leash just in case.

If sheโs a snuggler, put a soft blanket on your lap and hold her and talk to her.
