What should be posted to this community?

To clarify, this is not a subreddit for gawking or ogling pictures of Asian females. We encourage thought-provoking content regarding experiences of Asian females, discussion related to Asian females, or about Asian females in the media and society.

Who can be a part of the r/asiantwoX community?

The community was created as a forum that panders specifically to Asian women (full-blooded, mixed, immigrant, native, etc.), but there are no restrictions on who can join. As stated in the sidebar, all people (regardless of ethnicity or gender) with an interest in r/asiantwoX community are welcome as long as they are respectful and follow the rules adapted from r/TwoXChromosomes to ensure respect, quality, and limited drama.

Aside from the search box in the top right corner of the screen, you can refer to the Related Links and Discussion page for frequently discussed topics as well. We see many themes in r/asiantwox and may come across certain topics frequently. The mods and the community appreciate doing a little research prior to submitting to eliminate redundancy or the dreaded repost.

What about cross-posting?

For topics relevant to Asian females found elsewhere on reddit, we allow cross-posts. However, please link to the cross-post in a text post submission using a "non-participation" link (i.e. replace the "www" part of the reddit url to "np") to further inhibit post brigading.

What do I do when my post does not show up on the page?

The subreddit has a very unpredictable spam filter that occasionally prevents submissions from getting posted. If this happens to you, message the mods, and we will be more than happy to get your submission out of the spam filter. The mods reserve the right to remove your post or comment if it violates the rules. Feel free to message us if you feel like your post has been removed in error, and we will share why we feel it needed to be removed.

Someone is harassing me on this subreddit. What should I do?

We are adapting a zero-tolerance policy regarding personal attacks toward users and the community. We cannot remove/ban posts for simply having a dissenting opinion if it was presented in a format conducive to opening up discussion, per reddiquette, but if you feel like your submission is being attacked, you should report the post, and message the moderators with a link to the antagonizing post. We will remove the post and ban the user if we see fit.
