Correct Me if I’m Wrong
esd.whs.milThis isn’t a big document - but one that flew under the radar. When I’m asking if I’m wrong, I’m referring to Section 3.3 subsection 2c. If I’m reading this correctly though… the Department of Defense now has LEGAL authority to enact military - LETHAL - force against protesters, if they so choose to use it.
Am I misunderstanding something? Did we just have the right to protest ripped from underneath us without any news coverage? No media talk? No announcement??
I’m posting this to a few subreddits just because I’d like answers sooner rather than later. If I’m correct, the United States Government just turned on its own people in broad daylight.

Musk and Co Are Attempting to Run the World. Help Me Fuck Them. Please.
Elon Musk is being floated for Speaker of the House. Let’s say that again: Elon Musk—the apartheid scion, the Twitter overlord, the guy who thinks homelessness is a personal failing—is about to slide into real political power. Russia staged fake bomb threats at precincts in battleground states. Musk is openly offering to fund Nigel Farage while tying the noose tighter on democracy, and we’re all watching it happen like it’s some dystopian HBO drama instead of our actual fucking lives.
And for what? Growth. Not morality. Not values. Not some grand nationalist purity myth. Just growth. Bottomless, endless, gut-churning growth. His obsession with population collapse and fathering a football team of kids isn’t about the future of the species—it’s about making sure there are more hands to work, more mouths to feed the machine, more bodies to exploit. This isn’t about saving the world. It’s about wringing it dry for a few extra zeros on the quarterly report. It’s eugenics for profits. Eugenics for yachts.
And me? I’ve had to sit in it for years. I work with a harm reduction and homeless outreach initiative in Georgia. 8;years in harm reduction services , and every day I’m face-to-face with the people they want dead.. The people they’ve already decided don’t matter. The ones Elon can spit on from his rocket ship while his cronies pass laws that make living illegal. They say homelessness is a choice, addiction is a choice. They don’t see what I see. The funerals. The pain. The survivors clawing for air while this system shoves them back down.
I’ve lost friends. Loved ones. People who deserved better than what this country offered them. People whose deaths these assholes would call collateral damage. And now I’m supposed to watch Musk waltz into Congress like a savior? Watch him strip the last bits of humanity out of our systems so he can add another wing to his Mars bunker? Nah. Fuck that.
This is a declaration of intent of mass violence. And I sincerely hope it can be stopped non-violently.
This isn’t just policy failure. It’s a war. A war on the poor, the sick, the addicted, the vulnerable. A war on everyone who doesn’t fit their sanitized vision of who gets to live. Every single day, I try to fight it. I’ve spent years doing this work, knowing that the system is designed to crush the people I care about. But this? This feels like the breaking point.
My only option to still be here for my kids as they grow up is nonviolence. So I choose nonviolence. But let me be clear: they want the people I work with erased. They’d have to kill me first before I let that happen.
Let’s fuck up the inauguration. Let’s show up. Let’s ruin their clean, quiet little handoff of authority. Let’s make them feel what they’ve devoted their lives from running away from : accountability, and raw goddamn humanity.
Let's show up, and with a smile on our faces march right down their fucking throats as they panic and try to hide the reality they are responsible for. Massive pictures and representations of the horror they try and sanitize. And let's do it non violently. Let's give them one last honest shot. If they respond with violence then they can't be mad if we make sure we can communicate.
I’ve lost too much. I’ve seen too much. I’m over feeling guilty for hating what they’ve done while they sit in mansions and yachts, completely insulated from the destruction they’ve caused.
Fuck this. Let’s fuck them.
Inauguration is January 20th. Hit me up. I'll try and get you there if you want to be. Even if I'm broke I can maybe help you figure something out

Workers of the world Advice/ Help/ Wisdom Bully boss lied to get me fired
So I’ve been at this restaurant for close to two years now. I started as a to go girl and they finally after a year promoted me to prep chef. I was loving it and doing the work just fine but there was one day they gave me an almost impossible task list of foods to complete. I was overwhelmed and had very little help. The bully boss came to help but I ended up being 2.5 hours over my time and my babysitter was very upset (I’m a single mom) I said I needed to leave and several times from two different bosses was told I had to stay until the “tasks were complete”. I get that an hour or so is fine but when my child has to get picked up I have to go. Macaroni salad is not life or death… the following day I voiced my concern to the HR girl, who I thought was keeping it confidential. Instead she went and told the bully boss, the owner and the finance person. So 3 against 1 I was brought into a meeting and told that I’m an asset, then had my money and hours reduced. I was put in the salad bar/dish pit position. This was the bully boss’s way of punishing me. I did the job and tried to make it work. But after several weeks she out of nowhere called me into the office to say a coworker (her flying monkey and spy) was “alarmed” by the story I told him and I was fired on the spot. The story was about a former workplace Christmas party. Nothing super crazy. Just that it was adult themed white elephant but it said bring family so I brought my son (5) and he won a “toy”. Apparently this upset the 62 yr old grizzled chef who has called his own wife a bitch and says only nasty things about the other coworkers. Yuck. Im better off out of there but I am curious if anyone else has had an experience like this or how would you handle this bully? She said I’m not allowed in the restaurant to collect my belongings and I have to schedule a time to pick them up. I am planning to call the owner tomorrow and see if we can’t make sense of this. I have been an exemplary employee at every place I’ve worked. Zero history of drug or alcohol use, not even a dui or anything remotely shady. I’ve worked at a daycare prior and have a squeaky clean record. Just looking for something to make this make sense.
