You'll need to pay for it out of pocket, if you're very lucky private health insurance might cover some of it.

I've only ever seen it covered for a few sessions in cases where it's needed for some other medical reason. I only got like two sessions covered but that was because I am prone to really bad pilonidal cysts, they're basically just really long wraspy ingrown hairs

Varies from insurer to insurer & from policy to policy... but the short answer is: no (usually).

Irish health insurers often(ish) cover trans surgeries & sometimes cover trans HRT (though often subject to limitations that make it hardly worth the hassle of applying) but it's very rare for them to cover hair removal - either laser or electrolysis.
