Lateralus Interesting fact

Just curious how many of you knew the sound at the beginning of The Grudge is from an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation called The Offspring. It’s from the lift that Data’s “daughter” Lal is on.

I was like, “I know that sound!”

Interesting. I didn’t know it was so prevalent. I’ll be looking for it everywhere now lol. That Star Trek episode is the only place I’ve heard it.

Same with the stock baby cry at the beginning of Cesaro Summability (track before Aenima), I hear it everywhere!
