things to do in The Hague Outdoor bouldering
I bouldered for the first time yesterday. In a gym. Loved it. I will soon return to The Hague area, and the monthly membership fee for boulderhals are beyond my budget. Are there outdoor bouldering events or groups in The Hague area? Are there any spots in The Hague area that has the kind of nature formation (rocks or gnarly big trees maybe?) to practice bouldering for free(ish) without going into a boulderhal?

Schiedam has an outdoor boulder wall right under the train tracks next to the station. It was a real Hotspot during covid when all the gyms were closed. Not sure what the state of it is now. Also there is a park in Delft with a few blocks you can boulder on.
All a little bit less beginner friendly than indoor bouldering though

Good suggestions, but none of those are free and OP is looking for free options

There is a boulder ball near Kijkduin, called "Monument van Puin" (Rubble Monument).

You can try working in the gym. Sometimes they are looking for cleaners to work in the morning. Afaik they will also give membership for free

Lol! You'd be hard pressed to find a pebble here let alone a boulder.
