meeting people Turkish expats of the Hague, where the hell are you ?

Hey, I’m new in the Hague (alredy a few months in) and I have some friends outside the office, but i’m quite shocked that I haven’t even seen any Turkish people around. Are there any online (wp groups or any other) communities that I can join and see where and when you guys organize meetups ?

I think if you by expat mean skilled migrants, then you’ll be having a hard time finding them (Turkish) in The Hague. I have met some working in different companies, but they’re mostly in IT and living in or around Amsterdam.

If you’re looking for people with Turkish background though, then there’s plenty in The Hague.

Yes, I meant the skilled migrants indeed, within the age group of 27-32

Your best chance is a site like meetup.com, try to find a community there.

Have you tried visiting the Haagse Markt and surrounding shops? I am pretty sure a lot of businesses there are run by Turkish people and they do have a vibrant community. Maybe you will have a better luck in finding some fellow countrymen there!

Hoş geldin Ozan. Aradığın profil muhtemelen Den Haag'da daha az. Bu başlık altında oluşturalım :)

The Hague is not known for its role in IT and engineering sector, people living here either works for government, a law firm, tax counselling firm or for embassies, international organisations etc.(there are other sectors but these are the main dominant ones). Myself, as a Turkish person, I would advise you following meet-ups for networking with other Turkish folk. My DM is open as well, if you want any advice or something else
