Came with a message. You can see it across the street from a gas station side of light rails tracks. I doubt the city's money will stretch this far to be painted over.

Found this key just outside of Safeway on Alhambra this morning. I gave it to customer services. Figured I should post it on here just in case.

Gives you a better idea just how many cop cars were on scene. This was just one corner of the street; probably another 6-7 on the other side, and then a couple more on the other side of the intersection.

Hi all! My husband and I found this little guy in November of this year. We unfortunately had to surrender him to Bradshaw Animal Shelter because we couldn’t afford to raise such a young kitten without taking away from our cat. My husband was already attached a bit to Ghost (which is what I named him due to how we found him) despite having him in our home for less than 24 hours. I think we would both benefit from hearing about how he’s doing, and also to thank you for loving him for us. We wish we could have added him to our family, but sometimes life doesn’t work out how you want it to. So if anyone here has adopted him, would you please be willing to give us an update about how he’s doing?
Here’s some more info if you want to ensure that he was adopted by you: his shelter ID was A872564 according to the website we used to track him, he was less than 10 weeks when adopted, and you adopted the most playful and loud little boy ever! We were actually scared for a minute that he was going to wake up our neighbors and get us in trouble lol He also wouldn’t stop going in and out of our bathtub to play :)
Thank you so much for your time, and if you own him but decide to not share updates or make yourself known… thank you still. Please give him extra love for us! Happy Holidays everyone!

My backyard grapefruit tree is dropping fresh fruit like crazy! I’ve gathered and set out several bags for pickup—and there’s a ton more if you’re willing to pick and gather yourself from the backyard. Free pickup in Oak Park.

Hi everyone. I found some kittens at Bartley cavanaugh golf course on the left side of the parking lot behind the partial fence. They look to be about 4ish -6ish months old. I don’t see a mom but i know for sure there are 4 and think maybe a 5th one is hidden. I got them fresh kitten food and water but that’s the most i can do right now. Just posting to see if maybe there is someone else who can help them more. I don’t see a mom anywhere. That’s the closest they would let me get without running away. They seemed like they wanted to come closer but were just scared. 🖤

This cat we have seen around our neighborhood a couple times, he seems to have lost his way home. Got stuck under our house on Christmas Eve, he was still hanging around the house when we got back yesterday. He’s been crying nonstop, we fed him but he seems scared.
Please comment or message if you have any info!

Gotta vent really quick: I'm currently out of town and got a call from my storage on Roseville Rd that some douches cut the fence and cut the locks on a few units, including mine. Have to wait until I get back to see what they stole. Uggh! Happy Holidays?

Hey, Sacramento Redditors!!
I posted the other day about needing a ride to my job interview and any recommendations for a mechanic. The outpouring of support is greatly appreciated! I love you guys!!
I wanted to update you guys, and also ask if anyone knows of a good used car dealership (I know those words really don’t belong in the same sentence lol) that would take a car that no longer runs as a trade in.
I had a mechanic look at my car, and unfortunately, the engine is bad. It has low compression in cylinder four. I knew it wouldn’t be anything simple with my luck lol!
I’m supposed to start my new job on the 13th of January, and public transportation isn’t any option due to my new work schedule (6am-3pm). I definitely can’t afford $60 a day for Uber either.
I’m looking for a miracle lol! Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
I love you, Sacramento Redditors!!! ♥️

Edit: THANK YOU, I got it discounted. This stuff should be common knowledge, I'll keep the post up in case anyone else wants to look at the suggestions.
I aged out of my parents' insurance. I have my own insurance starting February, but I am currently on anti-depressants. I thought I could get a 90 day refill to cover that gap, but the insurance denied it so I have to pay out of pocket for January and part of February. It's around $160 for a refill with no insurance.
Saving the details, but my depression is very bad and chronic. I have a rough history and I've tried the "take a walk" "go outside" "go to the gym" and none of it worked, I was still suicidal 24/7 even with a very active lifestyle and clean eating. I'm super worried about going cold turkey, I have 8 days of medicine left.
When I was in another state I went to the urgent care for a high fever, and they gave me a coupon that let me get my medicine for free at the pharmacy. Is there anything like that here? Coupons or maybe an org that will cover medicine one time? I can definitely stretch one bottle to the mid Feb date.
Thanks

Hey all, just a friendly reminder to check your bank accounts for fraud. Got 2 text messages this morning on my way to work that someone was changing the contact numbers on my online bank account. When I logged in, the numbers on file were no longer mine and the email was changed as well. They also somehow had my credit card I was expecting to get in the mail, and went to the golden1 ATM, pulled about $500 on Laguna Blvd where the branch used to be before they closed. Not sure how much of my life has been compromised since they were able to do so much with my online banking and had my credit. Before anyone says/asks: Yes I did call my bank (golden1) and filed a report. I live in a gated community and our mailbox looked fine (nothing looked like it had been broken into and we had plenty of mail still in the box). I'm thinking they got the card through the USPS mailroom or something but as far as my online stuff idk. Welp, not sure what to do or where to go from here. Do I just continue with life? Do I drink and smoke the emotions away? Ugh.
Edit: Thievery started on the 25th and the fraudness continued until today which is why I said "Christmas Credit card thievery"

What’s the closest place on 50 right now to have my dog play in the snow? I don’t want to go on a long hike; I just want to pull over and let her run around for 30mins and call it a day.

Avoid Stockton Blvd. and Florin Rd.
Intersection partly blocked off, traffic moving but slow.
