I actually read the original post and this isn’t a cute story. The neighbor is unhinged and they are having to get the police involved. Not sure why it’s been posted here?

I hate rockhounders like this. They see something shiny and schlep mass amounts of volume home. When their dumbasses find out that pyrite isn't gold, they can't be bothered to take the rocks back from where they got them so they resort to putting their rocks in neighborhood garbage cans or other people's lawns.

I don't understand them either. A cool rock is a cool rock, I have hundreds of prairie agates from when I was young and ignorant enough to have thought anything with bands was a fairburn, I've got a false shark tooth fossil, just because it's not what you thought it was going to be doesn't mean it's any less cool

I agree. There are so many other uses for the rocks, such as lawn decorating, gifting to friends and family, donating to stores, or even selling online. The rocks could be made into art or used in flower pots as well.

....Are they at least cool rocks?
If they won't stop at least tell em you'll compromise and let them IF they're particularly neat rocks

Wait till the pile is a bit larger then dump them on their lawn. Get video of them dropping off the rocks.

INFO: Is your neighbor a penguin? Are they trying to court you in a respectful penguin fashion?
